The Board of Directors of the World Okinawa Te Federation includes representatives of the following styles:
Matsubayashi Ryu (Shorin Ryu): Eihachi Ota 10th dan (USA); Goju Ryu: Meitetsu Yagi 10th Dan (Japan);
Uechi Ryu: Takemi Takayasu 9th dan (France);
Kingai Ryu: Yoshiaki Gakiya 9th dan (Japan);
Shotokan Ryu: Horst Zettner 9th dan (Germany);
Sindo Ryu: Valeriy Maystrovoy 8th dan (Russia);
At present, Okinawa te includes three styles: Shorin Ryu, Goju Ryu and Uechi Ryu, each of which includes several schools. The most rigid school of classic old Okinawa karate is Sindo Ryu. Fights in it are in full contact, without protective devices and blows to any part of the body are allowed.
The headquarters of the World Okinawa Te Federation is located in Naha (Okinawa, Japan). President of the International Okinawa Te Federation Hanshi Eihachi Ota 10th dan (Japan).
The headquarters of the Western European region is located in Lausanne, Switzerland. The headquarters of the Eastern European region and Russia is located in Moscow. The President of the Okinawa Karate and Kobudo Federation of Russia and the European Okinawa Karate Federation is Valeriy Maistrovoy (8th dan Okinawa te and 7th dan Kobudo).
